In February, we invited several active clients and alumni from our accelerator programs to attend a workshop on Frictionless Data Rooms, hosted by David Steinley (Future Standard). In this half-day workshop, participants received a comprehensive overview of Data Rooms, a key piece of a founder’s fundraising portfolio.
Topics covered in this workshop included:
- How to clearly articulate the business opportunity you are trying to sell
- What is a Data Room, and what should you include
- What is an Investment Memo, the cornerstone data room file
- The key steps in running a successful fundraising process
