Congratulations to our 2017 New Ventures BC Competition winner Ecoation, for raising $5.4 million in seed financing.
Ecoation closed a financing round to take its platform to the global market. Investors from North America and the European Union participated in the round, including members of the Creative Destruction Lab and their associated ventures. Since winning the 2017 competition, Ecoation has gone on to perfecting their automated row-shifting robot and patented sensing technology that can detect crop stress before symptoms become visible to the naked eyes or cameras.
