With the awards less than one week away, we’re excited to make an early prize announcement! The $20,000 BC Bioenergy Network Prize has been awarded to Recycle-Now!, a company that finished in the Top 25 of this year’s competition.
Recycle-Now! designed the Anaconda System, designed to processes green waste or food waste by-products in urban areas.
Some benefits of their system include
- substantially reducing volume and biological processing time,
- lower operating costs, and
- reduced transportation and disposal fees.

$20,000 BC Bioenergy Network cash prize:
- $20,000 for the top company actively involved in the commercialization of Bioenergy technology, defined as renewable energy that is derived from biomass of recent living organisms.
