Roof Imaging Systems is the brainchild of three generations of roof-consulting Ladick’s and electronics consulting technologist Robert Shular.
The technology identifies and maps moisture below the roof surfaces to detect roof issues earlier and to reduce maintenance and repair costs in the long run.
It differs from current infrared technologies in four ways: the real time mapping nature of the technology allows project managers to make decisions immediately during the inspection process; it can be used at any time of the day whereas infrared is limited to the darkness of night; it can see through materials such as dry substrates which impairs the vision of infrared technologies; and it is more sensitive to low mass moisture detection.
