The 2010 BCIC New Ventures Competition: Regional is underway and the regional seminar series kicks off this week in Kelowna and Victoria.
BCIC — New Ventures: Regional is like a boot camp for business startups where competitors can learn from some of B.C.’s best business experts at our business-education seminars while networking with top professionals in business, law, finance, government and academia. Plus, competition winners will share $60,000 in prize money.
The competition is open to any B.C. person, resident or business located outside of metro Vancouver with a technology-focused idea that has not yet secured significant financing from external investors (i.e. investors other than friends, family and company founders). The $100 entry fee covers all of the BCIC-NVC: Regional business-education seminars and networking events.
